Happy 4th of July
The longstanding tradition of community fireworks show in Atascadero ended in 1982, with a late-game decision in 1983 to pull the plug. In 2012 and 2013, the dynamic duo of Jerry Clay and Bob Kelley brought a family-friendly festival to Atascadero Lake Park, but the event did not carry a third year.
Our 4th of July Bluegrass Freedom Festival was a big hit with a bigger crowd and expanded musical lineup in 2018, and 2019 is going to be just as grand! The Atascadero Lake is filled to the gills and gorgeous, and the park is blooming out now with amazing oak tree shade all around.
We will have BBQ chicken plates and a variety of hot dogs available as well as a handful of specialty food vendors and the Printery Foundation Beer, Wine and Beverage booth.
Join us for one of the most patriotic celebrations on the Central Coast!
